In probably the most lopsided performance fans have seen from a Razorback team, Arkansas dominated UAPB, 70-0.

The Hogs did exactly what they needed to do. They stayed healthy, played clean football, and asserted their will on the Golden Lions. The first play of the game showed exactly what their mentality was for the game. Taylen Green targeted Tyron Broden on a deep shot that would've been a touchdown if Green had put enough air under the ball. In fact, UAPB almost intercepted the pass. But the boldness and aggression of the shot play continued until the end of the night.

It even crossed to the other side of the ball. The defensive flew around with a sense of urgency, and the front seven were absolutely uncontainable. The Razorbacks had ten tackles for loss, including four sacks. However, they did it by committee, with no play recording more than five tackles.

It's important not to overreact, though. UAPB is an FCS team with much less talent; Arkansas should beat them without much issue. On the other hand, this is the most lopsided victory since 1928, when Arkansas defeated Texas Southwest 73-0. That's mighty impressive for a team that probably couldn't have scored 70 points on air in 2023.

Arkansas will travel to Stilwater to take on Oklahoma State next Saturday, September 7, at 11:00 AM. If you want to check out the competition, OSU plays this Saturday at 1:00 PM on ESPN+.
