Yesterday, Arkansas won a nail-biter, 2-1, with a one-out sacrifice fly in the bottom of the eighth.

Today, the bats were a little hotter. At least they got that way by the end of the game. For the first seven innings, it was a pitcher's dual like on Friday night. The Hogs were first on the board with a one-run double in the third.

Florida answered two innings later with a run of their own. In the top of the seventh, Florida took its first lead of the series with a three-run inning. Just when it looked like the Gators were on a roll, the Razorbacks knocked them back to earth in the bottom of the inning.

The Diamond Hogs answered with a five-run stint to retake the lead. All five of the runs were scored with two outs. Jared Sprague-Lott led the scoring frenzy off with a single to center field and was followed by the usual suspect. Wehiwa Aloy and Peyton Holt hit dingers to score the other four runs.

The Gators had something going in the eighth with bases loaded, one out, and a run already scored. Luckily, Holt isn't just a great batter. Florida's Colby Shelton hit a would-be sacrifice fly, but Holt had another idea in mind when he pump-faked the catch in center field, causing the base runner to tag up too early. It gave him just enough time to make the throw that turned a double-play at home and ended the inning.

The Hogs finished the game with a one-hit ninth, taking the series and the game 6-5. Arkansas will take on Florida again today for a chance to sweep the series.
