One former hog is getting paid. Oklahoma City guard Isaiah Joe has signed a four-year deal totaling $48 million.

Joe has been with the Thunder since the 2022-23 season and helped lead them to the NBA playoffs this year. In his time with the Thunder, he’s shot over 44 percent from the field each year, including 40-plus percent from the 3-point line. This season alone, he shot 45.8 percent, 41.6 percent from deep, and averaged 2.3 boards a game.

Oklahoma City is one of the youngest teams in the country, yet this season, they finished no. 1 in the west. Unfortunately, they met the Dallas Mavericks, who were on fire to close the season. With stars like Joe, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, and Chet Holmgren, they could have the foundation for one of the best teams in the NBA for the foreseeable future.
