Arkansas cornerback Dwight McGlothern was not selected in the 2024 NFL draft. However, Matt Zenitz reports that McGlothern will sign with the Minnesota Vikings as an undrafted free agent.

McGlothern had a decent combine, but none of the numbers really stuck out. He ran a 4.47 second forty with a 1.5 split. He only test in two other drills vertical jump (32 inches) and broad jump (9 foot-7 inches). The Vikings gave up the 10th-most passing yards in the NFL last season, so they need the help, but it will be a tough task to make a 54-man roster by September.

McGlothern transferred to Arkansas in 2022 and was an instant boost to a secondary that finished as one of the worst in the country. It was evident from his first drive as a Razorback, picking off Luke Fickell’s Cincinnati team in week one. McGlothern finished his career with the Hogs recording 72 tackles, 62 solo, 16 passes deflected, four forced fumbles, and seven interceptions.

In his short time on the Hill, McGlothern earned these honors:

  • 2023 Bronko Nagurski Watch List
  • 2023 Preseason First-Team All-SEC (Athlon, Coaches)
  • 2023 Preseason Second-Team All-SEC (Media, Phil Steele)
