College GameDay picked the Hogs to upset Auburn

Auburn might be the favorite in Las Vegas, but the College GameDay panel is picking the Hogs.

All but one of the College GameDay panelists picked Arkansas to knock off the Tigers in Jordan-Hare stadium. Des Howard, Nick Saben, Pat McAfee, guest picker Blake Sheldon, and Lee Corso all picked the Razorbacks. Their reasons for picking Arkansas varied, but the biggest theme was that the Tigers struggled against California, and now they're starting a new quarterback.

The only panelist to pick Auburn was Kirk Herbstreit, but his rationale was less about Auburn being better and more about the venue. He cited Jordan-Hare's environment as being the X factor in the game.

While some superstitious fans might not like it, having some of the best minds in college football media choose the Hogs gives fans insight into how the nation views Arkansas's potential.
