Today is the official start of the 2024-25 college football season! The Hogs don't play today, but a couple of games today can help you get the college football fix you've craved since January.

The first game of the season is the Aer Lingus College Football Classic between No. 10 Florida State and Georgia Tech in Dublin, Ireland. The unique game offers a chance to spread the American game abroad, like how the NFL plays a few games overseas every season. This game is, by far, the most interesting game of the day, with conference implications at stake.

The ACC matchup between FSU and Georgia Tech is the only interconference game of the day. However, another ACC team is on today's lineup. Newly added SMU is heading west to take on Nevada at 7:00 PM. And for you night owls out there, Delaware St. and Hawaii kickoff at 11:00 PM tonight.

If none of those float your boat, you won't have to wait long for the Razorbacks to play. Arkansas kicks off the season against Arkansas Pine Bluff on Thursday, August 29, at 6:30 PM at War Memorial Stadium in Little Rock.
