Since EA Sports announced that the return of a College Football video game was a reality, fans have been gleaming with joy and anticipation, waiting for any drop of information released. Earlier this week, College Sports 25 revealed its home-field advantage feature and the top-25 toughest place to play rankings.

Yesterday, EA Sports dropped another nugget to gin up excitement. College Football 25 released its offensive and defensive power rankings. Obviously, Arkansas was not among the teams listed after its 4-8 season.

However, multiple teams in the rankings were either incredibly overrated or shouldn't have been in the rankings at all. Notably, Colorado made both rankings. Despite finishing 105 of 133 FBS teams in yards per play, the Buffalos rank No. 20 in the defensive power rankings in front of Louisville, North Carolina, and Kansas State, who all finished higher.

More egregious is their No. 9 ranking on the offensive side. Colorado was No. 97 in yards per play, but somehow, they rank in front of Ole Miss, who finished No. 30 in the same stat.
