Opportunism at the plate
One thing Arkansas has working for them is their ability to manufacture baserunners without having to hit. The Razorbacks scored 14 total runs last weekend, and seven came from runners who reached base on an error, fielder's choice, or a walk.
Of course, two of those are (for lack of better words) "luck stats" for hitters, but the Razorbacks have developed a good eye from the plate throughout this season. They only scored three runs where the runner started as a walk against South Carolina, but the Hogs did record 17 walks, for an average of more than five a game.
If Arkansas can cash in on more free baserunners, it can lean on their prized pitchers as much as they want. All the Hogs need is better situational hitting.
