The head-scratching calls have been limited this year. Sam Pittman and his staff are known for questionable coaching decisions, but today, they fell back into their old ways.

Arkansas had a decent drive going, but the Aggies stopped it around the 40-yard line. The Hogs had to burn a timeout before a field goal try because too many men were on the field. But instead of taking the points, Arkansas faked a field goal. After all, the last special teams fake worked perfectly, but that wasn't the case this time. Holder Devin Bale was tackled behind the line for a loss.

Being aggressive is ok, but in a game where every point matters, why not take the field goal? The defense is playing lights out. The coaching staff has to be better going forward, especially with how much many self-inflicted wounds the players earn by themselves.
