Arkansas running back suspended indefinitely for violation of team rules
Two days after Arkansas’s 24–14 victory over Auburn, Sam Pittman broke the news that a running back has been suspended indefinitely.
During Monday’s press conference, Pittman announced that Rashod Dubinion was suspended after violating team rules. Through three years, Dubinion showed flashes of how good he could be in the backfield. In his first-ever game as a Razorback, he made Cinncinatti players silly at times. But since then, he's been off and on as a 'change of pace' RB.
He really shined in Arkansas's Bowl game against Kansas, where he had 112 yards on 20 carries for two touchdowns. In his career, he's recorded 568 yards and six touchdowns, averaging 3.6 yards per carry. It’s hard to say that Arkansas will miss him much, though; he’s only played in one game against UAPB, recording three carries for 15 yards and two receptions for 14.
Three backs are in front of him, including Ja’Quinden Jackson, Braylen Russell, and Rodney Hill. However, Jackson has received the vast majority of touches with 69 of 114 rushing attempts from RBs for 472 yards and eight touchdowns.
