4. Outback Bowl against Penn State, 2021-22
Before the 2022 Outback Bowl, the Razorbacks hadn't been to a bowl game since 2016, when Arkansas blew a 24-0 halftime lead, and Pittman helped Arkansas get there in only two seasons.
Arkansas drew Penn State after a disappointing season for the Nittany Lions. They were picked to finish second in the Big Ten East and fourth in the conference but finished fourth and eighth, respectively. Arkansas was 1-7, including a four-game losing streak, against Big Ten teams going into the game.
It was a defensive showcase for the Hogs, holding Penn State scoreless in the second half and blanking them in the first quarter, giving Arkansas its first bowl win in just over seven years.
