9. Liberty Bowl against Kansas 2022-23
The second bowl game in which Arkansas played under Pittman came off a slightly disappointing season. In 2021, the Hogs won nine games but barely made it to the postseason in 2022, going 6-6.
The Razorbacks drew Kansas after that program had a renaissance of its own, making its first bowl game since 2008 and its fifth in the 21st century. With many players opting out of the bowl game, Arkansas played with a skeleton crew. Nevertheless, the Hogs jumped to a 31-13 lead at halftime. It was obvious they had something to prove off the starting blocks.
However, the Jayhawks scored 18 unanswered points in the fourth to force overtime. The Razorbacks stopped Kansas' two-point attempt in the third overtime, winning their second bowl game in as many seasons. The 2022 Liberty game turned out to be one of the most exciting of the season.
