Arkansas has had one of the toughest schedules in the country for nearly a decade. With the additions of Texas and Oklahoma to the SEC, that trend will continue for the foreseeable future. Now, Arkansas's 2025 schedule – or at least the appearance of it – is getting more difficult.

Missouri State is joining the fun of conference realignment fun. The FCS team is moving from the Missouri Valley Conference to Conference USA (FBS) in 2025. The conference has adopted a couple of other FCS schools in 2023, as well as Liberty as an independent. Delaware will be joining alongside Missouri State in 2025.

For Arkansas, the move bolsters its nonconference schedule ever so lightly. The Razorbacks will be the only team in the conference without an FCS opponent, which is only good for bragging rights. In reality, the Bears won't magically be better because of their move to the FBS ranks.
