2019: De'Jon Harris & Dre Greenlaw
Bret Bielema's last season as the head coach was the start of the darkest period in Arkansas football history. The season was awful. Every quality opponent Arkansas faced stomped them into the ground. The Razorbacks went 4-8, and Bielema was let go coming off of the field after a 48-45 loss to Missouri.
The two silver linings of the team were De'Jon Harris and Dre Greenlaw. Arkansas' offense was nowhere to be found all season, and the defense gave up 438 yards a game. However, Harris and Greenlaw combined for over 200 tackles. The next-highest tackler had 40 fewer tackles than the pair.
Statistically, they were nearly identical. Greenlaw discontinued the season with 103 tackles, 52 solo, a sack, and two pass deflections. He recorded double-digit tackles against TCU, Texas A&M, Auburn, Coastal Carolina, Mississippi State, and Mizzou.
Harris played a major role in just as many games, recording double-digit tackles against Texas A&M, South Carolina, Alabama, Auburn, and Coastal Carolina. He finished with 115 tackles, 66 solo, 3.5 sacks, and two pass deflections.
An example of how their joint performance helped Arkansas is the Texas A&M game, where the Hogs forced overtime.
