It only takes one match to spark an explosion, and head coach Jon Calipari might've just struck his.

After what seemed like weeks of endless social media posts freaking out about Arkansas' basketball recruiting, the Hogs finally get another basketball commit. Karter Knox has reportedly committed to Arkansas, per Joe Tipton on On3Sports.

Knox was committed to Kentucky under Coach Calipari but has since decided to follow the Hall of Fame coach to the Hill. He's a five-star recruit according to 247Sports Composite, earning a .99 rating. He is also the No. 7 small forward in the country and the No. 22 player overall.

After a tremendous season with Overtime Elite, scoring 23 points, six rebounds, and three assists per game, he was named a McDonald's All-American out of high school.

Director of scouting for 247Sports, Adam Finkelstein, wrote this about Knox,

"While he’s a shooting threat from three with a soft natural ball and compact release, and even capable of making some threes on the move, he’s proven to be most efficient inside the arc to this point in his career. He has very good perimeter footwork, can attack to either side off the dribble without wasting much motion, and play through contact while doing so. He is a consistent pull-up threat in the mid-range area and showing an increased willingness to punish smaller defenders in the post. He’s shown flashes of passing ability and unselfishness, and is also a quality rebounder on the wing."

Arkansas has 11 scholarships to fill out next season's roster, and Karter Knox could be the match that starts an explosion of commits.
