Arkansas's offense left much to be desired on Saturday, but Travis Williams' defense brought the wood against his alma mater. As a result, the Hog of the Week comes from the defensive side of the ball.

TJ Metcalf had himself a game yesterday. He was the second-leading tackler yesterday with four solo tackles and picked off both of Auburn's quarterbacks. He had two pass breakups and a forced fumble. The Tigers turned the ball over five times Saturday, and Metcalf had a hand in all but one.

Apart from his two interceptions, the Alabama native caused Doneiko Slaughter's pick after tipping the ball. He also forced the only fumble of the game on what would've been a 36-yard rush by Auburn's Damari Alston.

Of course, the defense stepped up as a whole for their defensive coordinator, but this game was personal for Metcalf. In the post-game press conference, he talked about the lack of interest he received from Auburn.

"Auburn didn’t offer me out of high school, so it was kind of personal for me to come in here and get the win," said Metcalf. Shortly after, he was asked why the Tigers weren't interested and Metcalf responded, "I don't know what they were thinking." Right now, Payton Thorne and Hank Brown are thinking the same thing.

The defense took a step in the right direction yesterday, especially in the secondary, thanks to the sophomore's performance. If they continue to play that way through the conference schedule, Metcalf won't be the last Hog of the Week.
