Milwaukee signs Stanley Umude to a two-way deal.
Arkansas is one of the leading producers of NBA talent in college basketball. But there seems to be one specific team that really loves a good ol’ Razorback.
Stanley Umude has signed a two-way deal with the Milwaukee Bucks, becoming the team's second addition from free agency this cycle.
The former Hog signed a two-way with Detroit out of college as an undrafted free agent. However, his contract was upgraded to a standard NBA contract in February. Umude averaged a 43.5 field goal percentage, 44.4 from three-point range, and 5.2 points a game with the Pistons.
The Bucks have a recent history with former Razorbacks. Bobby Portis has been one of the household names in Milwaukee for almost five years. He's done well with the Bucks, averaging a 50 percent clip from the field, 40.3 from the arch, 8.3 boards, and 13.5 points a game. He also helped the franchise achieve its second NBA championship in franchise history.
Last season, the Bucks also signed Patrick Beverly, recording a 39.1 field goal percentage, 36.1 percent from three, and 6 points. After a sour ending to the season, it's unlikely the Bucks will bring him back for another season.
