The Good, Bad, & Ugly From Arkansas football's win over Auburn
The Ugly: For the second straight game, Taylen Green struggled to throw the football
One week removed from an 11-26 performance against UAB, Green went 12-27 passing on Saturday. That statistic is poor on its own, but the eye test made Green's throwing performance look even worse. Several hospital passes to the likes of Andrew Armstrong and Rodney Hill resulted in huge hits by Auburn defenders, and a badly underthrown corner route early in the second half ended in Green's second interception of the afternoon.
That's not to say Green's performance was all bad: He rushed for 80 yards and made a spectacular touchdown throw that gave Arkansas a 14-7 lead in the third quarter, but he won't be able to get away with similar performances as the season goes on. Green's offensive line didn't do him any favors, either, as he was under pressure for much of the game, but his decision making was certainly questionable at times. Arkansas' matchup against Texas A&M will be a crucial litmus test for how Green will fare against the elite of the SEC.
