Trevon Brazile will play basketball at Arkansas next season
After pulling his name from the NBA draft a few weeks ago, Arkansas basketball forward Trevon Brazile decided to run it back one last time.
Last season was a disappointment to all, including Brazile. During the 2022-23 season, he looked like the real deal. It all started with a viral dunk against South Dakota State. Later in Maui, he and Anthony Black were quite the duo, combining for 105 points in three games. Two games later, Brazile led the team in scoring with 23 points. Unfortunately, his season came to an end with a torn ACL the very next game.
The 2023-24 season was supposed to be his redemption year. But a nagging knee injury, off-the-court controversy, and an underperforming team ensured that wouldn’t happen.
Now, nearly two years after his injury, he has a fresh start at an old school. He’s the only person returning to the program, including the coaching staff. For Brazile, coming back to Arkansas is the best of both worlds.
The Razorbacks have four more roster spots to fill, with Brazile taking the ninth seat.
