Does anyone else feel like they’re going to be sick after that roller coaster ride?

Arkansas baseball made fans feel every emotion during their four-hour, 17-9 win against Southeast Missouri. The Razorbacks have struggled at the plate all season long, but they went up by eight runs in the bottom of the second inning. The doubts and worries about Arkansas‘s bats seemed to disappear just in time for pitching struggles to crash into the minds of Razorback nation.

Mason Molina started for the Hogs this afternoon. He made it through two innings without a blemish but gave up four runs in the third inning. Star reliever Will McEntire had early success but gave up another four runs in the fifth.

As Arkansas began to sure things up on the mound, the bats began to ice the game. Hudson White and Ben McLaughlin were the stars of the show, driving in 11 runs with two homers a piece. Five other batters scored RBIs, including Jared Sprague-Lott, Ross Lovich, Wehiwa Aloy, Kendall Diggs, Peyton Holt, and Ty Wilsmeyer. Wilmsmeyer reached bases on all five of his at-bats.

Arkansas will take on the winner of game two between Kansas State and Louisiana Tech, starting at 7 p.m. CST. The winner's bracket game begins tomorrow, June 1, at 8 p.m. CST. The game will stream on ESPN Plus.
