The Party Animals, an entertainment-focused baseball team out of Savannah, GA., will have their Banana Ball World Tour come to Baum-Walker Stadium this weekend on Friday, Aug. 15, and Saturday, Aug. 16. This is the first time the entertainment baseball team will make its appearance in Fayetteville, AR, with the event already being sold out for both days.
The Party Animals take over the Home of the Hogs
The game is played in a “banana ball” format with choreographed dances and celebrations taking place during the game. The game has a two-hour time limit that includes rules like no bunts, walks or mound visits. Batters have the opportunity to steal third base. If a fan catches a foul ball, it is recorded as an out. If the game is tied after the two-hour time limit, a showdown will occur between the two teams to declare the winner.
The Party Animals are just coming off performing in Baton Rouge, LA., at Alex Box Stadium, the home of the LSU Tigers, last weekend in front of a sold-out crowd. They have already sold out for next weekend in Starkville, MS., at Dudy Noble Field, home of the Mississippi State Bulldogs.
