The vibes are electric in Fayetteville as the Hogs are set to take on Texas, renewing a longtime rivalry. On ESPN's College GameDay, the game received a lot of attention, with Pat McAfee discussing how he learned about the hatred between the two teams.
Unfortunately, McAfee was the only panelist stock in the rivalry. Texas received five of the six votes, with Desmond Howard, Nick Saban, Lee Corso, Kirk Herbsteit, and guest picker Cody Rhodes.
There's no question that the rivalry is back. When the Longhorns entered Donald W Reynolds Razorback Stadium for pregame warmups, the sparse crown roared down with boos. Even the cheerleaders couldn't escape the jeers.
This is type of hate is what Arkansas has missed since moving to the SEC. I’m glad Texas is taking it in stride. That’s a good sign the rivalry is back. https://t.co/fwkxd02BF4
