Unfortunately, the Iamaleava drama has made its way into the Natural State. True freshman quarterback Madden Iamaleava decided to transfer from Arkansas and follow his brother Nico to UCLA.

Starting last week, social media was flooded with rumors of Nico Iamaleava holding out from Tennessee's spring practice for more money. Nearly all the reactions were negative, but it wasn't until word that Nico was shopping around for a bigger paycheck that the bulk of the backlash started.

The situation was only aggravated by Madden's early departure. Fans again took to social media—especially Hog fans—and voiced their frustrations or coped through humor. Here are some of those reactions:

Madden Iamaleava transfers to UCLA: Fans, media react

Daniel Fair, a writer for HawgBeat, makes a joke about the quick turnaround with Madden Iamaleava, comparing his 'era at Arkansas' to Aaron Roger's first season with the Jets, which lasted about five minutes.

Josh Pate of "Josh Pate's College Football Show" on 247Sports is a stark critic of the changes in college football, especially this out-of-control NIL and transfer portal combination that creates situations like the Iamaleava's.

Razorbackers' site expert Austin Farmer and a fan on X (formerly Twitter) comment on the absurdity of it all.

The following three reactions all talk about the praise Iamaleava received as a Razorback just to throw it in the program's and the fans' faces. Two even suggested who should receive Arkansas' support with redshirt freshman KJ Jackson and true freshman Grayson Wilson.

A timeline of the Iamaleava saga.

Arkansas fans weren't the only ones who used Madden leaving as an opportunity to throw a jab. Cousin Shane of the "That SEC Podcast" and a massive Tennessee fan said what most Arkansas fans were feeling. Even Oregon fans—whose coach, Dan Lanning, ratted Iamaleava out to Josh Heupel at Tennessee—throw their own.
