Watching instate recruits leave for other SEC teams is one of the most frustrating things to see as a Razorback fan, especially when they're highly ranked. Courtney Crutchfield was one that really hurt, choosing Missouri over the Hogs. But now, the Pine Bluff native has made his way back home.

After one season with the Tigers, Crutchfield entered the transfer portal, committing to the Razorbacks six days later. He's the fourth transfer wide receiver Arkansas has pulled from the portal.

As a recruit, 247Sports ranked him in the top 50 (No. 43) of the 2024 class with a rating of 97. He was the tenth-best WR in the class and the No. 2 prospect in Arkansas.

The 2024 class was loaded with talent. Five players were ranked four-star recruits by 247. However, Arkansas only picked up two: Braylen Russell and Charlie Collins, Crutchfield's cousin. Notably, the other big miss of the class was quarterback Walker White, who went to Auburn to play for Hugh Freeze.

The 2025 transfer class grew to 16 with Crutchfield's commitment, coming in at No.16, and brought Arkansas's composite ranking to No. 29 in the nation.
