Arkansas native and former Razorback Jaylin Williams continues to impress in his third season with the Oklahoma City Thunder. While he only averages six points a game, Williams has achieved something most players this year haven't.
Jaylin Williams records his third triple-double
On Friday, the Fort Smith native completed his third triple-double this season during the Thunder's 145-11 win against the Utah Jazz. He scored 15 points, dished out 10 assists, and cleaned up 11 boards. He also finished with a block and a steal.
So far, only 14 players in the NBA have reached at least three triple-doubles. That means Williams has more triple-doubles than 96 percent of the 450 players currently on NBA rosters. Williams initially became famous for his innate ability to take charges, which led to critics claiming that was all he could do.
Instead, he's recorded three triple-doubles in just over a month on the best team in the NBA. What's more, he's on the court having fun every night, throwing himself alley-oops off the backboard for monster dunks!

The Thunder are 68-14 this season and have clinched the Western Conference by 16 games. OKC is one of the most dominant teams ever, shattering a record that stood for more than 50 years. Outscoring their opponents by 1,055 points this season, the Thunder broke the 1971-72 Lakers' point differential record (12.3), averaging 12.9 more points a game.
With the No. 1 seed, Oklahoma City will play the winner of the play-in game between the Warriors and the Grizzlies. Unfortunately, Williams hurt his ankle against New Orleans on Sunday, making his return by the start of the playoffs questionable.
