It's 93 days until Arkansas football takes the field, but you can start making plans for games now. The start times for the first three games have been released, and spoiler, there's not one 11:00 AM match.
Arkansas football start times for first three games
The Razorbacks will kick off their season at home against Alabama A&M on Saturday, August 30, at 3:15 PM CST, with coverage on the SEC Network. On September 6, Arkansas will make history by facing in-state rival Arkansas State for the first time ever. That game, set for 4:00 PM in Little Rock, will stream exclusively on SEC Network+—a surprising choice given its significance.
The following week, the Hogs will travel to Oxford to take on Ole Miss on September 13, with kickoff scheduled for either 6:00 or 6:45 PM, depending on the broadcast. That matchup will air on either ESPN or the SEC Network.
It's the first leg of a daunting 5-game stretch, spending nearly the entire month of September away from Fayetteville. After taking on Ole Miss, Arkansas will travel to Memphis for the first time since 1998. It's one of the few Group of Five schools on the rise, and the Hogs have to play in their stadium. Finally, Arkansas will return home for the first time since August 30 to play a College Football Playoff team in Notre Dame.
While playing in Fayetteville only twice in the first five weeks isn't ideal, it's better than last season, where the Hogs only played one game truly at home between August 29 and October 5.
