For some reason, Arkansas baseball fans just can't get a good weekend in Fayetteville lately.
Arkansas baseball has made a few changes to this weekend's series against Texas A&M. Due to the forecast of inclement weather heading to Northwest Arkansas on Saturday, game three against the Aggies has been moved to Friday, which gives the Hogs another doubleheader in SEC play. Thursday's game will start as planned at 7:00 PM. Game one on Friday will start at 1:00 PM and game 2 will follow one hour after the conclusion of the first.
Arkansas baseball's second doubleheader in a row in Fayetteville
The last time Arkansas played a series at home against Missouri, the games were postponed due to the weather. Saturday's game went on as scheduled, but Sunday turned into a doubleheader, where Arkansas outscored the Tigers 30-6.
Texas A&M will be a tougher challenge as the Aggies have caught fire as of late, winning their last two SEC series after starting 15-14. A&M took down No. 1 (at the time) Tennessee, scoring in bunches. Maybe, if the Diamond Hogs are lucky, the schedule change could benefit Arkansas because the Aggies struggled in the opening game of both series.
