Q: There’s been a special connection between Jackson Dart and Tre Harris this season, but Harris missed last week's game with an injury. If he plays against Arkansas, how do you think it affects Ole Miss' passing game?

A: This is a tough one; maybe not many Ole Miss fans will share the same opinion. When Tre Harris plays, it makes Jaxson Dart better, but it also means the quarterback is hyper-focused on getting him the ball. In the last game against Oklahoma, especially in the second half, fans saw how good the team can be when they utilize the other pass-catching pieces, especially the tight ends.

As good as Harris is, Ole Miss is more effective when it can scheme things up to get others involved. The hope is that Lane Kiffin and offensive coordinator Charlie Weis Jr. will continue where they left off last week, with or without Tre Harris.

Q: For Hog fans, there’s a familiar face on the Ole Miss defense. Chris Paul was an outstanding linebacker for Arkansas before he transferred to the neighboring state. What have they gotten from him this season?

A: Oh man, I love Chris Paul. He has added a physical presence as a linebacker and a leader for our younger players. Bringing in a talented player with SEC experience will help most teams, and he has. Paul has been electric in stopping the run, and his speed to get up to the line and make hits has been a momentum shifter during games. He has seen a few penalties against him, but that comes with the territory with the speed he plays the game.
