After getting knocked out in its own Regional last season, Arkansas softball is on to the Super Regionals for the first time since 2022. The Razorbacks finished the regular season 38-11 before going 2-1 in the SEC tournament.

Arkansas vs St. Louis

Heading into the NCAA regionals, Arkansas hosted Saint Louis, Indiana, and Oklahoma State. The Hogs' first game against St. Louis was a blowout, winning 10-0, with the bottom of the order going off. On three hits in three at-bats, right fielder Kailey Wyckoff knocked in half (5) of the team's runs for the game. The bottom four hitters also scored at least one RBI.

True freshman Payton Burnham pitched lights out, recording her first no-hitter as a Razorback and Arkansas' first during the NCAA Tournament in school history. She slung the ball only 66 times in the five-inning run rule, striking out six batters and letting two take a base on a walk and a hit-by-pitch.

Arkansas vs OK State: Game one

In game two, the Razorbacks drew OK State, which finished fourth in the Big 12. The Hogs were down 5-2 heading into the bottom of the seventh, but a massive swing by Courtney Day drove in a run, and an error at home allowed Bri Ellis to cut the lead to one. Ella McDowell hit another double to tie the game. Dave came to the rescue again in extra innings, driving in the walk-off run to seal the game.

The Razorbacks' ace, Robyn Herron, struggled in this game, giving up five earned runs, walking three batters, and striking out three more. Burnham came in for the second day in a row and pitched another shutout to allow Arkansas enough room to rally back and win 6-5.

Arkansas vs OK State: Game two

In the final game of the regionals, the Hogs faced OSU again, but this time, there were no dramatics. Arkansas walloped the Cowboys 12-0. Herron earned her redemption, shutting out OSU and allowing only three hits, a walk, and an HBP.

Again, the bottom of the order came in clutch. The nine-hole hitter, Karlie Davison, went 2-4 at the plate and drove in four RBIs. Catcher Kennedy Miller also hit well, walking in an RBI and hitting a double to bring in two more.

Arkansas to face Ole Miss in Fayetteville Super Regional

After a successful Regional, the Hogs will host a Super Regional against conference foe Ole Miss, which couldn't have been a better situation for the Razorbacks. Arkansas lost only two series this season—one against Oklahoma and the other to the Rebels at the beginning of the season. It's the perfect time to take their revenge by potentially ending Ole Miss' season.

Game one of the Fayetteville Super Regional will begin on Friday, May 23, at 7:00 PM CST on ESPNU.
