Every Arkansas Razorback who made an NFL roster

After starting the 2026 season with a 31-14 win against the North Alabama Lions, the Arkansas Razorbacks football team is officially one game into the Ryan Silverfield era. While the Hogs turn their attention toward Week 2, several former players are preparing to begin seasons of their own at the next level.

17 former Razorbacks survive NFL roster cuts

Altogether, 17 different Arkansas Razorbacks made initial 53-man rosters ahead of the 2026 NFL season.

Of these 17 pro Hogs, four were selected in the 2026 NFL Draft: Seattle Seahawks DB Julian Neal (third round, 99th pick), Las Vegas Raiders RB Mike Washington Jr. (fourth round, 122nd pick), Tennessee Titans OL Fernando Carmona (fifth round, 142nd pick), and Cleveland Browns QB Taylen Green (sixth round, 182nd pick).

Neal is starting the year as a second-string cornerback for the Seattle Seahawks, although he was sidelined with a quad injury for much of the preseason before returning to full practice ahead of Week 1. If he stays healthy, it wouldn't be surprising to see the 6-foot-2 pro Hog getting snaps for the Seahawks as part of their defensive subpackages. Likewise, Mike Washington Jr. -- who put together a stellar preseason that saw him rush for 168 yards on 7.3 YPC -- also projects as the second-string running back for the Las Vegas Raiders, where he'll play Robin to Ashton Jeanty's Batman this season.

Fernando Carmona could be another early winner of the Razorbacks' latest draft class, as the Second-Team All-SEC guard will begin the 2026 NFL season as the Tennessee Titans' starting right guard. After going 3-14 in back-to-back seasons, Tennessee will turn to Carmona as part of its rebuild despite him falling to the fifth round of the NFL Draft earlier this year.

Cleveland Browns quarterback Taylen Green finds himself third on the depth chart to start the 2026 NFL season, but with the QB controversy surrounding Deshaun Watson and Shedeur Sanders, it's totally feasible that Green finds the field sooner rather than later.

On the offensive side of the ball, six more former Razorbacks made rosters around the league, with Arizona Cardinals starting center Hjalte Froholdt and Los Angeles Rams second-string guard Beaux Limmer joining Carmona as the Hogs' pro offensive linemen. Froholdt in particular has become a stalwart in the NFL over the past few years, having started every game for the Arizona Cardinals in three consecutive seasons.

Hunter Henry and Feleipe Franks represent the Arkansas Razorbacks' NFL tight ends, with the two former Hogs playing for the New England Patriots and Carolina Panthers, respectively, this upcoming season. Washington Commanders second-string wide receiver Treylon Burks and Detroit Lions starting wide-out Isaac TeSlaa round out the Hogs' pro pass catchers.

Defensively, five more former Razorbacks were featured on initial 53-man NFL rosters. Jacksonville Jaguars starting cornerback Montaric Brown and Los Angeles Rams starting free safety Kam Curl are two standout pro Hogs, and they are both expected to play major roles on two talented defenses in the NFL.

Linebacker Dre Greenlaw is returning to the San Francisco 49ers after a one-year stint with the Denver Broncos, potentially setting up a major comeback story for the former Razorback, who tore his Achilles tendon during Super Bowl LVIII following the 2023 season with the 49ers. Rounding out the defense are Buffalo Bills reserve edge rusher Landon Jackson and New Orleans Saints reserve defensive lineman John Ridgeway III.

The Razorbacks also have two special teams aces -- Detroit Lions starting kicker Jake Bates and Jacksonville Jaguars starting kicker Cam Little. Overall, this brings the Hogs' initial 53-man roster count to 17 total players, their most since 19 former Razorbacks were active in the NFL in 2023. While it would be great to see the team parlay this success into wins in the coming years, it's still fun to see so many former Hogs finding success at the next level.

The 2026 NFL season will officially kick off on Wednesday, Sept. 9, when Hunter Henry and the New England Patriots face Julian Neal and the Seattle Seahawks at 7:20 p.m. CST on NBC.
