Spring is often the best time to be a Razorback. However, the last week has been one of the best in recent memory. Nearly every spring sport is performing exceptionally well.

Softball and baseball are currently on track to Oklahoma City and Omaha. The Track teams are elite, as usual. Even women's golf has put its name on the map this week.

SEC Baseball and Softball (and potentially national) Players of the Year are in Fayetteville

The best diamond sports players in the conference play for the Razorbacks. Shortstop Wehiwa Aloy and first baseman Bri Ellis took home SEC Player of the Year after amazing seasons.

Ellis is one of the best hitters college softball has ever seen. She's hitting .457 through the first round of the NCAA Tournament, has an on-base percentage of .646, and slugs for 1.142. During the SEC Tournament, she had one of the most memorable plays of the season, walking off Georgia with a grand slam on her first hittable pitch of the day.

Aloy had an amazing season of his own, leading the team with a .358 average and a .677 slugging percentage. He also produced a respectable OBP of .440.

Both athletes were in the running for national POY in their respective sports. Bri Ellis has already been named Softball America's POY. Aloy is on her tail after being named a semifinalist for the Golden Spikes Award.

Maria Jose Marin brings a National Championship to Arkansas

In a sport that's hardly in the spotlight for Arkansas fans, Women's golf star Maria Jose Marin took home the top individual prize of the season: the 2025 NCAA Championship trophy.

SEC Player of the Year, Marin shot 12-under-par for the 72-hole weekend, shooting 70, 72, 65, and 69 on the 72-par course. She was four strokes short of the all-time NCAA championship record of 16-under-par. Marin is Arkansas' third individual champion.

Arkansas Men's Track team takes SEC Championship for fifth consecutive season

This is a scheduled post, or at least, it should be. The Razorbacks Men's Track team has again been crowned the SEC champions. It's the fifth season in a row the Hogs have taken home the trophy.

Three Razorbacks won gold in four events. Marcus Weaver won the decathlon, Davis Helmerich took gold in the 1500M, and Arkansas football wide receiver Jordan Anthony won both the 100m and 200m.

Anthony claimed the men's Commissioner Trophy with a combined 21.5 points from the 100m, 200m, and 4X100m races and broke his own Arkansas record of 9.98 with a 9.95 100m dash.
