Arkansas grabs a much-need win, dominating Mississippi State 58-25.

The Razorbacks had their best offensive performance against an SEC opponent in almost a decade. The last time Arkansas dropped 58 points in conference play was against Mississippi State in 2016. There was almost nothing the Bulldogs could do to stop Arkansas's offense.

They were led by Taylen Green. It was a career day for the 6-foot-6-inch quarterback. He had 314 yards passing with five touchdowns and an interception that wasn't his fault. It was also his most accurate performance of the season, completing 79 percent of his throws.

If Green can play like this for the rest of the season, the Razorbacks have a decent shot at beating everyone left on their schedule. However, that should be something fans expect. Mississippi State's defense is the worst in the SEC, and Arkansas has Ole Miss and Texas left of the schedule. Regardless, Green showed a lot of growth from game one to today.

Part of Green's success was the offensive line's performance. Arkansas produced 359 yards rushing today and gave up zero sacks. There were a few pressures, but Green escaped easily.

The running back had a field day, with true freshman Braylen Russel, going 175 on 167 carries and averaging 10.9 yards a carry, including the 75-yard dash below. Green nearly eclipsed the century mark himself, rushing for 98 yards and a touchdown. Rashod Dubinion had trouble hanging onto the ball at times, but he had his best day this year, rushing for 79 yards and a touchdown.

Arkansas's defense was the very definition of "bend, don't break," giving up 471 yards but stopping the Bulldogs three times within the five-yard line. The Hogs turned Mississippi State over five times, including two strip sacks, a forced fumble within inches of the endzone, and two interceptions. Arkansas scored four touchdowns off takeaways.

The Razorbacks are coming home for next week's game. Arkansas will take on Ole Miss at either 11:00 or 11:45. The Rebels started hot, but haven't scored over 30 points in conference play, including today's matchup against Oklahoma.
