The Hogs are retooling their offensive line this offseason. After three starters transferred, Arkansas picked up its fourth offensive lineman from the portal.
Maryland transfer Marcus Dumervil committed to Arkansas after a two-year stint with the Terps. He started in the three games and appeared in ten of their 12 games. Dumervil has great experience in pass blocking. In 2024, the Terps had the third-best passing offense in the Big Ten, averaging 275.7 yards a game.
Before he transferred to Maryland, Dumervil committed and played three seasons at LSU, where he appeared in 16 games with one start. Ironically, his first collegiate start came his redshirt freshman season against Arkansas in 2021's 16-13 win in Death Valley.
As a recruit, 247Sports ranked him as a top-200 prospect with a .95 composite rating. The four-star offensive tackle was the No. 110 player overall, No. 11 at his position, and No. 17 in Florida.
