Two weeks ago, Arkansas's fanbase nearly imploded after two dozen Razorbacks entered the transfer portal. Over the next few days, that number grew to 27. Of course, with outgoing transfers comes incoming transfers, and today, Arkansas brought in four new players.

Running back Mike Washington, safety Quentavious Scandrett, edge Justus Boone, and cornerback Jordan Young all called the Hogs before noon on Saturday. That brings Arkansas's total incoming transfers to 13 through the first two weeks.

The Razorbacks are finally doing what other SEC teams are doing — putting up enough money to make it hard to say no. Washington is the standout RB from New Mexico State, originally committed to Utah. But Arkansas convinced Washington to switch allegiances.

At New Mexico State, Washington was the second-leading rusher, gaining 725 yards and eight touchdowns.

Arkansas's secondary also brought in some help with Scandrett and Young.

Scandrett is coming to Fayetteville from Eastern Michigan, where he averaged 52.3 tackles the past three seasons. In 2024, he had 55 tackles, 28 solo, three pass deflections, and an interception.

As a high school recruit, Scandrett was an 80.94 rated three-star, according to On3 Sports. But as a transfer, the Hampton, Ga. native is a borderline four-star, rated at 89.19.

The second of the two DBs is Yound, who's coming in for a huge position of need: cornerback. The Razorbacks struggled there with Jalen Braxton hurt all season.

Young was a three-star out of high school and initially signed with Florida. After barely seeing the field, he transferred to Cincinnati in 2023, averaging 34.5 tackles and 5.5 pass deflections the last two seasons. As a transfer, On3 Sports rates him a 90.69 four-star.

Last but not least is Justus Boone from Florida. A four-star edge out of high school, Boone hasn't had the career he's wanted. His redshirt freshman season was when he began to see the field and garnered 24 tackles and a sack.

However, during fall camp in 2023, Boone tore his ACL and missed the entirety of his redshirt sophomore season. In 2024, his production dropped significantly, recording only 10 tackles.

Like Trajan Jeffcoat, Boone just needs a change of scenery. And if there's one coach that can draw out his potential, it's defensive line Coach Deke Adams.
