Arkansas football released the first official depth chart for its game against Alabama A&M, and there are a couple of surprises.

The defensive side of the ball is relatively what was expected. Apart from former guard Keyshawn Blackstock moving to defensive tackle, there are no massive surprises. However, at cornerback, fans will see two newcomers, Julian Neal from Fresno State and Kani Walker from Oklahoma, take the field over returners Selman Bridges and Jaheim Singletary.

On offense, the line is as expected, with Kobe Branham taking over the right guard position and E'Marion Harris and Oregon transfer Shaq McRoy vying for the right tackle position. However, there was a bit of a shake-up with the wide receivers. CJ Brown won the starting spot over Fresno State transfer Raylen Sharp, who has reportedly earned rapport with quarterback Taylen Green. On the other side of the formation, Florida State Transfer Jalen Brown has clinched the Z receiver in front of Florida transfer Andy Jean and Missouri transfer Courtney Crutchfield.

There's also one player left off completely: star freshman Antonio Jordan. After a great fall camp, Jordan looked like he could contribute this season with some great catches. However, it's likely because of a last minute injury update about the young wideout. Jordan has a high ankle sprain and is doubtful for Saturday's game.

There is, though, another freshman pass catcher who made the three-deep. Ja'Kayden Ferguson, who also had a good fall camp but was overshadowed by Jordan, will come in behind O'Mega Black and Monte Harrison.
