SEC Media Days has wrapped up the week after releasing the preseason SEC football media polls and All-SEC teams. Following an uninspiring spring, Arkansas football fell to the bottom of the predicted order of finish poll at No. 14.
Only two teams received fewer points than the Razorbacks: Kentucky and Mississippi State, which finished 4-8 and 2-10, respectively, in 2024. Directly above Arkansas is Vanderbilt, which finished 7-6 after quarterback sensation Diego Pavia led the Commodores to a victory over Alabama for the first time since 1984.
Filling out the top of the poll are the usual suspects, with Georgia, Alabama, and LSU. However, Texas is the consensus No. 1 team in the SEC and predicted to be the SEC champion for a second consecutive season.
