Arkansas football continues to make a clear statement this offseason: the trenches matter. The Razorbacks bolstered their offensive line in a big way through the transfer portal, landing two highly sought-after linemen who could anchor the unit for years to come.
Terence Roberson Jr. Brings SEC-Caliber Talent from Division II
Division II Ouachita Baptist offensive lineman Terence Roberson Jr. committed to Arkansas on Friday, according to reports. Despite playing at the Division II level, Roberson was anything but under the radar. He held SEC offers from Auburn, LSU, Ole Miss, Tennessee, Kentucky, Texas, and Vanderbilt, among others, in addition to Arkansas. He also took an official visit to Fayetteville on Wednesday before making his decision.
Standing 6-foot-6 and 295 pounds, Roberson played in three games during the 2024 season to preserve his redshirt. In 2025, he emerged as a key contributor, appearing in 10 games and earning Second Team All–Great American Conference honors.
Roberson will arrive in Fayetteville with three years of eligibility remaining, making his commitment a massive win on multiple levels. First, Arkansas identified and secured a talented lineman early. Second, they beat out several SEC rivals for his services, a strong indication of just how highly regarded he is. For the Razorbacks, Roberson could prove to be a true diamond in the rough and a long-term building block up front that everyone in the SEC wish they just offered a little more NIL money for.
Bryant Williams Adds Size, Production, and Proven Pass Protection
Arkansas didn’t stop there.
The Razorbacks also landed a truly massive commitment in Louisiana offensive lineman Bryant Williams, who stands 6-foot-7 and 335 pounds. Williams was one of the most in-demand linemen in the transfer portal and committed to Arkansas over South Carolina.
Williams did not allow a single sack during the 2025 season, a statistic that immediately jumps off the page. According to 247Sports, he is the No. 60 overall transfer and the No. 6 offensive tackle available in the portal. Adding to that, a PFSN College Football analyst graded Williams as the third-highest graded tackle in the Sun Belt in 2025, earning a 76.7 overall grade.

Building the Foundation for the Future
With Roberson and Williams joining the fold, Arkansas is clearly committed to winning at the line of scrimmage. Head coach Ryan Silverfield continues to emphasize trench play, and the payoff could be significant.
If these transfers perform as expected, Razorback quarterbacks and running backs could be operating behind one of the more improved offensive lines in the SEC by the 2026 season. Games are won up front, and Arkansas is doing exactly what it needs to do to close the gap, one lineman at a time.
The foundation is being laid. Now, it’s about letting the big men work.
