In John Calipari's first season with the Razorbacks, Arkansas has moved on to the second round of the NCAA Tournament, beating Hall of Famer Bill Self and the Kansas Jayhawks. But to get to the Sweet Sixteen, The Hogs must defeat another Hall of Famer in Rick Pitino.
St. John's is one of the biggest stories in College basketball, finishing the regular season with a Big East championship, a 30-4 record, and a 2-seed bid to the NCAA Tournament. So, it's only fitting that they meet with Arkansas for March Madness, the only story that rivals theirs.
Calipari and Pitino also have a history. While at Kentucky, Coach Cal faced Pitino often in the Wildcats' annual game against in-state rival Louisville, and it was anything but friendly.
With the rivalry renewed during March Madness, anything thing can happen. The only thing we know for certain is that it'll be a game for the ages.
