The bulk of Arkansas basketball's schedule has finally been released, and the Razorbacks will open the season in familiar fashion, facing the same first two conference opponents as last year.

Tennessee and Ole Miss will be the first to greet Arkansas in SEC play for the second season in a row. Last year, the Hogs opened on the road against the Volunteers and lost, 76-52. This time, the game's in Fayetteville, giving an embarrassed Arkansas team a chance at payback.

The Rebels also took both matchups against the Razorbacks in 2025, including their three-point, buzzer-beater in the SEC Tournament. However, Arkansas must go to Oxford, Miss., to face Chris Beard and Ole Miss this time around.

The schedule doesn't get easier as Arkansas will travel to the Plains to face a team from last year's Final Four. While playing Auburn in the Jungle for the third conference game of the season is tough, it's better than playing the reigning national champs, Florida, in the same spot again in 2026.

Auburn is one of three opponents the Hogs will face twice in the regular season. The other two—LSU and Missouri—Arkansas played twice during the 2024-25 season. Unfortunately, that means Arkansas will only play Texas once this season. Also, that means the Razorbacks will only play Kentucky once.
