Despite giving the Tigers every conceivable chance to stay in the game, Arkansas beats No. 15 Missouri, 92-85. And with the quad-1 opportunities dwindling, it was much needed.

The struggles from deep from the Auburn game followed Arkansas into the first half of today's game, shooting 1/10 with the only three-pointer coming from Johnell Davis. However, the Hogs were nearly perfect inside the arc, knocking down 14 of their 18 attempts (53.6 percent from the field).

Still, Mizzou headed into the locker with a seven-point lead on a buzzer-beater tre. The Tigers had a massive advantage on the boards. Arkansas gave up one offensive rebound after another while only grabbing EIGHT total in the first half, which is an unbelievable stat. Nevertheless, Arkansas prevailed in the second half.

After shooting 10 percent from three in the first half, Arkansas hit five of their eight shots, including the first basket of the second half from DJ Wagner. The Hogs outscored Mizzou 51-37, ten points higher than the first half for Arkansas and 11 points lower for the Tigers.

Five Razorbacks scored in double-figures, with Zvonimir Ivisic leading the team with 20 and Johnell Davis coming in second with 18.

Arkansas will be back in Bud Walton to take on Texas. The Longhorns gave South Carolina its first SEC win of the season tonight, and the Hogs took it to them in Austin at the beginning of the Month. With an easier opponent in front of them and the chance to extend their winning streak, the Razorbacks must beat their old Southwest Conference rival.
