Arkansas barely escaped a South Carolina comeback attempt yesterday, but a win is a win. Now, the Hogs want to avenge another close loss against Ole Miss.
The Rebels are the No. 8 seed in the SEC Tournament, meaning they had a first-round bye. With the extra day of rest and Arkansas's short rotation, the Razorbacks will have a significant disadvantage heading into this afternoon's game. However, like head coach Calipari said after beating the Gamecocks, this Isn't the same team that played in January.
Arkansas lost one of its best players in Boogie Fland when they were 1-6 in conference play and won four of five since its leading scorer, Adou Theiro, went out with an injury. They're used to playing tired and worn out. Still, it's a tough turnaround for a 10-man rotation, let alone one with seven men.
