The Hogs are returning to Bud Walton today after breaking the seal against Georgia and beating their first SEC team. Now, the Crismon and Cardinal Classic is making its conference debut in Fayetteville.
Oklahoma is the complete opposite of Georgia. It has an explosive offense with a below-average defense, leading to high-scoring games. That doesn't bode well for an Arkansas team that's struggled to score in SEC play and is without its second-leading scorer in Boogie Fland.
Luckily, the Razorbacks found a grove in the second half against Georgia. It found ways to draw free throws and took advantage of second chances. And impressively, they did against one of the best defensive teams in the SEC.
If Arkansas can keep up with the high-powered offensive of the Sooners, they have a chance to gain its second SEC victory. And more importantly, it would be more evidence that the Razorbacks are finding their identity.
