The Razorbacks have their second big test of the nonconference schedule. The first against Baylor didn't turn out well for the Hogs, losing 72-67. Today, they face Illinois in the Thanksgiving Hoops Showcase in Kansas City, Mo.
Struggling with depth issues, Arkansas put on a few lackluster performances against midmajor teams since its game against Baylor. However, in Trevon Brazile's first game back from injury, the Hogs played their most complete game of the season against Maryland Eastern Shore, winning 109-35.
The fighting Illini are on a much higher level, though. They're the 13th-ranked team in terms of scoring offense and defense. Arkansas ranks 14th in scoring defense, but it's much lower on offense, coming in at No. 100. Although, the Razorbacks seemed to have found their rhythm shooting the ball against UMES.
