The Arkansas Razorbacks baseball continued their strong start to the 2026 season in dramatic fashion, walking off Xavier Musketeers baseball 7-6 to improve to an impressive 5-1 on the year. In a game packed with momentum swings and clutch performances, it was Kuhio Aloy who delivered the final blow, ripping a walk-off single to left field that sent Razorback fans into a frenzy and secured the hard-fought victory.

But as thrilling as the walk-off was, it somehow wasn’t even the most remarkable storyline of the afternoon.

Camden Kozeal Delivers Career-Best Performance

That honor belonged to star infielder Camden Kozeal, who etched his name into the record books by hitting for the cycle. Kozeal completed the rare feat in storybook fashion in the bottom of the ninth inning, lacing the double he needed to cap off the cycle. He later came around to score the game-winning run on Aloy’s single, putting the finishing touch on a historic performance.

Kozeal wasted no time setting the tone. He opened his day with a towering home run to right-center field, energizing the crowd early. In the third inning, he legged out a triple, by far the toughest leg of the cycle, putting himself well within striking distance of history. He added a single in the seventh inning, leaving only the double to complete the cycle. With the game on the line in the ninth, Kozeal delivered yet again, drilling a double to accomplish the feat and spark the decisive rally.

“You gotta get the triple, that’s the hardest thing to get. Once he got the triple, we started thinking he’s got a chance,” head coach Dave Van Horn said after the game.

Kozeal’s cycle marked the first by a Razorback since April 5, 2022, when Dylan Leach accomplished the milestone. Achieving it in a comeback victory made it even more special. The Razorbacks stay hot to start the year. They're showing the balance they have as a roster, from the lineup to the pitching rotation that they can win in many different ways. For Arkansas, it was more than just a win, it was a statement. And for Razorback fans, it was a day they won’t soon forget.
