The Hogs and Dogs are even with Georgia's win on Saturday. And if today's rubber match between the top-10 teams is anything like the previous two contests, fans better buckle up for some excitement.
Arkansas got off to a slow start offensively and gave up a significant portion of Georgia's runs in the first three innings. Yet, somehow, the Razorbacks found a way to crawl back into the game late. A two-run homer in the eighth and a run of a wild pitch in the ninth put the Hogs within one. Unfortunately, it wasn't enough to put Arkansas over the top.
Going into today's match-up, the Hogs have lefty Landon Beidelschies starting, who has been outstanding this season. While the Bulldog's bats have been hot, the Razorbacks may have the advantage on the mound with right-hander Leighton Finley getting the nod.
