Arkansas is on a hot start to the 2025 baseball season. The Hogs are 7-1, with the lone loss coming against Kansas State in the College Baseball Series in Arlington. Now, they're heading into this weekend's matchup against Charlotte, riding a seven-inning, 14-3 win over Grambling.
The bats have been hot for a select few, but the midweek game opened the floodgates for batters further down in the lineup. Rocco Peppi and Ryder Helfrick have struggled this season but found success against the Tigers, batting over .500 collectively for seven RBIs and a home run.
The Hogs' nine-hole hitter, Justin Thomas, is one of the better players at getting on base, with a .533 on-base percentage. However, his stats when swinging the bat haven't been great. But against Grambling, he went 2/3 at the plate, including a solo HR.
Hopefully, the Razorbacks can carry that production forward, starting with Charlotte this weekend. Here's how you can watch game 1 of the series:
