The Ugly: Arkansas' Defense

The only defensive positive in this game for Arkansas is that it held Ole Miss to only 3.1 yards per rush. The bad news? It gave up 562 passing yards, including 515 by Jaxson Dart. Tight end Dae'Quan Wright had nine catches for 99 yards and two touchdowns, and found himself wide open early in the game.

As the contest progressed, wide receiver Jordan Watkins became Dart's favorite target. Watkins' numbers from this game look like a stat-line from NCAA 25: Eight catches, 254 yards, give touchdowns and an average of 31. 8 yards per reception. Arkansas' secondary didn't perform very well against LSU or Mississippi State, but it didn't seem like they had rolled out of bed yet on Saturday. Defensive coordinator Travis Williams has some serious work to do before Texas comes to town on Nov. 16.
