Arkansas football transfer portal target #5: West Virginia DB Charles Woods

Sure, there are other positions we haven’t addressed on this list (Tight End, Running Back, and  Linebacker all come to mind), but we’re adding another defensive back, a corner specifically, to this list because Arkansas football must address their secondary heading into next season.

Dallas native and former West Virginia Mountaineer Charles Woods would be an absolute home run, hat trick, slam dunk for the Razorbacks. Woods was forced to medically redshirt after an early injury this season, but that redshirt has allowed him one more year of eligibility.

In his time in Morgantown, Woods recorded 39 tackles and eight interceptions. More importantly, the WVU coaching staff calls Woods the most talented cornerback in the Big 12 conference. The Hogs should be blowing up this kid’s phone to add him to the roster. He’d be an immediate impact player for Arkansas football.

Honorable Mention: Florida State DB Sam McCall
