Arkansas football transfer portal target #4: Colorado State DB Tywan Francis

Injuries and lack of production crippled the Arkansas football secondary this season. Latavious Brini and Myles Slusher are already confirmed to be leaving that unit. Plenty of other players, Like Simeon Blair, Jalen Catalon, and Dwight McGlothern, have decisions to make about next season.

And I don’t know about you, but entering next season with Malik Chavis and Hudson Clark being the headliners, makes me worry.

Arkansas football needs help in the defensive backfield regardless of who stays and who goes. Hitting the portal to find players who could contribute positively right away should probably be priority number one for Pittman this offseason.

While he does not have experience at the Power Five level, Colorado State DB Tywin Francis would add some much-needed oomph to the Razorback secondary. The New Orleans native had 88 total tackles in 11 games in the 2021 season and had 32 tackles through just four games this year.

Arkansas football will take any tackling help it can get, and they would be wise to give Francis a strong look.
