Hey, Alabama…you got any more of them linebackers you don’t want to play? Cause we love this one.

Pick a defensive stat, and odds are Drew Sanders leads the team.

Sanders is first on the team in solo tackles, tackles for loss, and forced fumbles. He is second on the team in assisted tackles, total tackles, and passes defended.

There is another spot where he leads the team that earned him the number one spot on this list: sacks. Sanders has 5.5 sacks through three games for Arkansas football.

Sanders is critical for the Razorback defense. Last week, when the secondary struggled against Missouri State, Defensive Coordinator Barry Odom used Sanders to apply more pressure in the 4th quarter.

And it worked.

Yes, football is a team game, but Sanders might be the most important player on the field today. If the secondary struggles early, look for Odom to use Sanders again to put extra pressure on the A&M quarterbacks.

The Hogs should win this one if Sanders records multiple sacks again this week.
